What’s in store for the summer homestretch?

Affiliate Summit East, which is next week, is kind of an unofficial end to summer for affiliate marketers. Yes, pre-September vacations are yet to be enjoyed (let me know if you have any tips for Panama), but preparation for Q4 pushes everything forward by a month or more in our world because of shipping deadlines, among other needs.

Having not been to a show since PI Live in Miami, I’m quite looking forward to catching up with friends and colleagues at the Marriott Marquis (the elevators are a lot better than they used to be), at the Grayson Hotel for Martech Record’s live event, for a scheduled walk in Central Park (a nice way to meet), and at the PMA’s annual brunch before jetting back home to the Austin area Tuesday evening.

Once home, it will be less than two weeks before a special event: Affiliates and Friends AND Families.
