FTP No Longer Supported After June 30, 2019

If you’re using FTP to login and access files, we have some news that may affect your usage of our datafeeds. We will be closing down our FTP access at the end of June, 2019. That’s right — after June 30, 2019, FTP will no longer be supported.

What does this mean for me?

If you currently use API instead of FTP, you have nothing to worry about — you’re all set! However, if you currently use FTP, there are a couple things you’ll need to do, including setting up an automated API. This enables you to make API calls to our system, and keep your site up-to-date automatically. We’ve included some instructions below on how to change your settings as well as some additional resources.

How do I change my settings?

If you’re still using FTP, you’ll need to update your settings before June 30. Below are instructions on changing settings.

First, you’ll need to login to your FMTC account. On the left navigation, click “Feed Management” and go to “Feed Settings.”

If you’re logged in, you can simply click this link: https://account.fmtc.co/cp/feed_settings

After visiting the feed settings page, you’ll see a checkbox next to FTP. Be sure this option is not checked, so you’ll no longer be using FTP.
